Balers and Bale Equipment
|
New Holland offers two models of Roll-Bar™ Balers: the Model BR550 and the Model BR560A. The dimensions of the bale they produce are the same which means that the difference is determined by your specific requirements: the number of bales you have to roll, the width of the swaths or windrows, the use of the bales for silage, hay or bedding purposes or your need to pack the silage as quickly as possible after rolling.

Saving time and money: The New Holland BR560A Combi reduces tractor, machine and manpower effort by combining baling and wrapping into one field process. Wrapping and unloading take place while the next bale is made. Integrated electronics and hydraulics automatically move and wrap the bale with a minimum of operator input. Compared to round baling only, the combined operation only needs a few seconds more per bale. This is the time needed to transfer the bale to the wrapper.
Increased silage quality: Wrapping bales as they leave the baler eliminates exposure in the field and loss of quality due to weather conditions. Also, there is no chance for soil contamination. Should one of the plastic film rolls run out, it is possible to finish the bale wrapping cycle with one roll. In this case, the conveyor chain speed for the bale rotation is adapted to the single film application.
Big in Big Bales: New Holland has the widest range of big balers on the market. Farmers looking for the ideal preservation method for their crops, or contractors seeking well - shaped bales of the right size and density will find a New Holland model that fits the bill. Ever since the introduction of big bales, New Holland has been at the forefront in developing arguably the best system for collecting, packaging, transporting and conserving straw, hay and silage.
New Holland Big Baler Model BB980 produces bales 120 cm wide, 130 cm high with a maximum length of 280 cm. It is the ideal machine for baling hay and straw and is suited to many industrial applications.
Rely on the professionals: New Holland, the Specialist round baler manufacturer, has always been at the forefront of crop rolling techniques. Ever since round balers made their first appearance New Holland has been improving the principle. The new variable chamber models BR740A and BR750A are the latest examples of this continuous development process.
Up to 25% more bales
per day: Smooth, efficient collection and transportation of the crop from windrow to bale results in a significant output increase. The standard flow windguard can be fitted with a plate or a roller front extension to further improve flow in certain crops. The BR-A models featuring the fork type feeder have long stroke tines that reach right to the back of the pick-up and deliver the crop to the bale chamber floor. This gives enhanced crop control and a more even crop layer, allowing the baler to work at a higher travel speeds.
Long chain life: Automatic chain lubrication uses individual brushes. The central oil pump has eight distribution pipes through which all the chains are lubricated. The system cycle starts automatically each time the tailgate is opened. Chain tension springs have tension indicators for easy adjustment, longer chain life and quieter machine operation.
Two leaf springs inside the twine delivery tubes not only provide the right twine tension but also ensure a swift start to the wrapping cycle.
