2. Background of Moving to New Headquarters

In pushing forward with the overseas strategy planned by the TADANO Group for aiming at the achievement of a 50% ratio of overseas to domestic sales in fiscal 2009, where special emphasis is being placed on strengthening our operations in North America which is one of our major global markets, it has become necessary for us to drastically improve and redevelop a sales and customer support system in the country, while taking into account their potential of expansion in the future, as well as to further build up the boom truck business we have been carrying out in the territory over the past years. Then, acquisition of a property to meet the above needs became a matter of urgency for us.

3. Features of New Headquarters

  1. Strengthening of Customer Support
We completed the extension work of a parts warehouse building and erected a new service plant building to strengthen our parts supply system, which will allow us to undertake emergency repair and modification work on our own.
  2. New Erection of Mounting Plant for Boom Trucks
A new mounting plant was built to further develop the business in this sector which we have set about in North America over the past years, thus enabling us to take on the necessary mounting work by ourselves which we used to entrust to sales distributors. This will no doubt contribute to expanding our boom truck sales.
  3. Improvement of Marketing Capabilities in Response to Market Needs On the premises of TAC, we prepared a location completely equipped with exhibiting facilities to facilitate sales by means of a machine demonstration or through a presentation of new products, which will help establish a sales system closer to customers and responding to their needs.
  4. Establishment of an Operational & Technical Training System Serviceable to Customer & Sales Distributors
For the purpose of providing a better understanding of specific characteristics of our products, we arranged that operational training be given to customers and that a product presentation be made to sales distributors including operational and technical guidance as to troubleshooting, by making full use o f a training room and a service plant in addition to an exhibition site available on the premises.
